As they make final preparations for their trip, I asked the 2012 Rainforest team what they were most looking forward to:

• A new experience
• Pushing myself out of my comfort zone
• Testing my survival skills
• Getting away from civilization
• Spending time with people I don’t normally spend time with
• Making new friends
• Warmth!
• Bullet ants (not really)

What project director Wendy Welshans is most looking forward to:

• Seeing the looks on all their faces as they go deeper and deeper into the jungle
